Lagniappe Academies continually looks for great team players who are smart, talented and dedicated and are passionate about helping New Orleans’ students succeed in school and life. Lagniappe Academies seeks community relationships with:

  • Tutors — to assist with students’ academic growth and development.
  • Mentors — to develop mutually beneficial relationships that enhance students’ lives in a variety of ways.
  • Community Partners

Lagniappe works with:

  • Community Book Center
  • Downtown Neighborhood Improvement Association
  • Iberville Residents Council
  • New Orleans African American Museum
  • Providence Housing
  • Advisory Council Participants — to gather input from family members, neighbors, and other stakeholders interested in helping the school fulfill its mission.
